Who We Are
We're an Auckland-based metal fabrication team specialising in architectural metalwork and custom fabrication for residential, commercial, industrial, civil and infrastructure projects.
From one-off components to packages of fabrication work, we provide practical solutions backed by attention to detail and service from design and fabrication through to finishing and installation.
Our Experience
Since 2014, the Fabrication Specialists team has delivered custom metal fabrication across Auckland, backed by more than 50 years of combined experience and independent quality accreditations.
We're known for architectural metalwork and quality residential projects, working with builders, architects and homeowners. We also support commercial, industrial, civil and infrastructure projects, working alongside contractors, engineers and project managers to deliver reliable fabrication solutions that meet project requirements, site constraints and deadlines.
Materials and Processes
We understand materials and are experts in TIG and MIG welding processes using a wide range of metals including mild steel, corten steel, stainless steel, aluminium, brass, and copper, new and recycled timbers. In the Community
At Fabrication Specialists, we’re proud to support the community we live and work in. Over the years, we’ve contributed our skills and services to local initiatives for the Hibiscus Coast Boat Club and the Orewa Rodders Beach Festival. Dean also organised the 2025 Whangaparaoa Blues Fest.
Most recently we designed and crafted a sculpture for the Whangaparaoa Treasure Hunt trail. We love helping to keep community projects and events running strong. We’re also an active member of Bizm8s, a local business group that fosters collaboration and connection among businesses in our region.
